Quick Start
App-Rentice works on iOS and Android as well as the Web so you can use it across multiple devices. Don’t have access to a phone? You can also use your laptop or pc.

Creating an Account
Educational Provider: If you are using App-Rentice through an Educational Provider e.g. Polytechnic or Industry Training Organisation (ITO) you will be provided with a Username and (initial) Password.
Individuals: Anyone is able to use App-Rentice and we are adding more qualifications as they are requested. If your qualification is not available you can still use App-Rentice with the generic curriculum.
1. Go to www.app-rentice.webapp.nz and select ‘Request Access’
2. Provide the requested information and select ‘Submit’
3. Once your details have been verified, you will be sent a confirmation email with your login information.
Individuals: Anyone is able to use App-Rentice and we are adding more qualifications as they are requested. If your qualification is not available you can still use App-Rentice with the generic curriculum.

Reset Your Password
Select Reset Your Password this will open the password reset webpage.
Enter the email address used when your account was created and then select Send
You will be redirected to the Password reset email sent page.
If you enter an incorrect or invalid email address, you will receive an error stating that the email is not recognised.
Click on the URL link in the email to be redirected to the Change Password page.
Check your junk mail if you haven’t received the email.
Enter your new password twice and select Reset
You will be redirected to the Password Reset Confirmed page.

Go to the Chrome Web Store https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions
Search “CORS” or “Allow-Control-Allow-Origin: *” or goto https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/allow-control-allow-origi/nlfbmbojpeacfghkpbjhddihlkkiljbi
Download and select enable
Web Desktop - Select your appropriate user type: Student or Faculty
Tap the Login button
You will be prompted to download content.
Select Yes if you want to allow offline use
